About Me...
I am 45, single and have 3 kids. I've been an active outdoor and fitness enthusiast all of my life. I completed my first triathlon in 1983, and have completed dozens since then, including a half-ironman. I've also completed the Chesapeake Bay Swim Race and 5 marathons and a several adventure races, including a 24 hour solo race. I enjoy many other outdoor pursuits including waterskiing, snow skiing and rock climbing.
I have been certified with the American Council on Exercise (ACE - read more at www,acefitness.org) since 2004. I am also a practiitioner of Muscle Activation, having 260 hours of classroom instruction and hands-on experience at the Muscle Activation Techniques internship in Denver CO (read more here or check out the Muscle Activation Techniques website for even more info).
My Approach...
My approach with my client's training is similar to my approach with my own life -- variety, fun, balance. I provide guidance and encouragement, and maybe just a little push when needed. I am not hard-core, high-pressure or over the top. My goal is to make fitness a permanent part of your life. The best way to do that is by creating a program that you enjoy and look forward to, and one that fits into your lifestyle.
